Our top 10 list is purely an opinion based on our knowledge of the car market and more specifically the SUV market. We do motivate why we think a particular SUV belongs in that position, but feel free to judge and rank this list in your own way.
10. Mercedes-Benz GLC
The Mercedes-Benz GLC is the lowest on our ranking of the top 10 best SUVs on the market today. The current Merceds-Benz GLC model was released in 2016 and received a modest facelift in 2020. Due to being an older model, it's not listed very high in our list. But we believe the upcoming GLC will definitely rank much higher.
So what's so great about the GLC? It's a great luxurious and very comfortable SUV. The engines in the Mercedes-Benz GLC are reliable and will last you a long time. At this point in time you can get a very high discount on the current facelifted 2020 model. Get up to 7% discount on the GLC, expect this to increase over the next few year to 15%. The price of currently 47.000 euro will go down to around 43.000 euro. For a brand new premium SUV, this price will become very attractive to new car luxury SUV buyers.
The new GLC is expected to be released later this year, or early next year in 2023. So the massive price drop for the current GLC can be expected later this year already.
9. BMW X3
BMW has been achieving great milestones in sales, especially with their "X" line SUV models. The BMW X3 is an excellent value if you are looking for an SUV that is made from high quality materials and a great price. The current generation G01 is almost at the end of its lifetime. Thanks to the power of electric motors, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is a very rapid car. The slowest Mustang Mach-E does an acceleration to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, while the fastest GT model will accelerate to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. Either versions are very quick. Your average fossil powered SUV in this list does an acceleration to 100 km/h in more than 8 seconds.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is also visually very different. It takes in styling elements of the original mustang sportscar such as the unique shaped rear lights. Alongside the absense of Ford badges, the Mach-E is certainly trying to sustain itself from being known as a regular Ford.

Porsche has been a member of the SUV-club for a very long time with the introduction of the Porsche Cayenne in 2003. Since then Porsche has kept improving their most successful model.
